Dr. Murphy had his hands full with me when I was first diagnosed. Besides fear I was determined I was not going to have chemo. After his patient and clear explanation of my type of cancer, I finally accepted that I better do everything I can now because there are no "do overs" when it comes to cancer. He has been on top of everything and thorough with me for the past 8 years. I'm am thankful to have him as my oncologist.
Dr. Murphy is very knowledgeable and takes the time to answer my questions.
I like & respect Dr. Murphy & I feel he has put in above par effort in trying to heal my ailment. Where I feel there's room for improvement is that at the RMCC where he has his Colorado Springs office, from the time he authorizes an infusion treatment you can expect to have to wait about a month before they will be able to get you in for the treatment. This has not been due to my insurance provider dragging their feet. If you are diagnosed late & your test numbers are scary low, nearly a month wait for an infusion treatment ... read more
I have been seeing Dr. Murphy since he started at the RMCC, I guess about 10 years. When my immune system bottomed out, he knew exactly what the problem was and has been successfully treating me for the last 6 years. I see him quarterly and I have always been pleased with his thoroughness and sincere concern for my well being. All the staff at the RMCC are super. I have been going to the RMCC for over 20 years, surviving 3 different types of cancers and I always feel important when I go there for my monthly immune system tre... read more
I've seen Dr. Murphy both in person and via telemedicine (video). In each case, he was familiar with my condition and health history, and provided clear and consistent treatment advice. In sum, Dr. Murphy is great and I plan to stick with him. I only wish he was affiliated with a group other than Rocky Mountain Cancer Center. Their lab is fine and their doctors are good, but I'm not particularly happy with their front office staff (check-in, scheduling, billing).
Dr. Murphy is a top-of-the-line physician, both professional and personable, and he is also very thorough. It is a pleasure to meet and speak with him. With serious health problems, it is a comfort to know he is managing all progress.
Dr. Murphy is honest and forthright. He always takes time to explain test results and course of treatment.
We made an error on Zoom appt. Dr. Murphy was so very kind to personally call us, the next day, with his report. Very much appreciated. We know he has a huge case load. He took the time!
Dr.Murphy is a very caring man. He has made my journey a lot easier. I have no worries when it comes down to understanding treatments or finding answers and Results. He is very thorough in my case and I know he genuinely cares about me and my health. I a tremendously pleased with him and his staff. Thank you Dr. Murphy. Be blessed
