During a follow-up after surgery in 2021, I was grabbed with no warning or explanation. Iorio used extreme force - something like Manipulation Under Anesthesia - with NO anesthesia. He did not stop when I cried out for him to stop. The result was that I experienced bodily injuries and was disabled, couldn't work, and lost my home. Dr.Iorio is a rude, arrogant, self titled, A-Hole. He was anything, but helpful. I would absolutely recommend finding a different surgeon and not using any of his staff.
OH HEALTH SAYS IORIO “ACTED WITHIN SCOPE OF WORK”, just needs to “work on communication”. YOU TELL ME. TOTAL DISREGARD of patient rights, doc responsibilities, the law. At 1 mo. check after PT, was recovering from elbow surgery, slightly stiff shoulder, swelling in hand & arm, otherwise fine. He recked spine, neck, shoulder by GRABBING ME & FORCING me into 3 positions I hadn’t been in since surgery. DIDN'T STOP when I told him to. He & OH Health don’t abide by “no means no”?
