I was referred to OrthoAtlanta because of a broken fifth metacarpal in my left hand. After physical exams, X-rays, and asking me about my activity types, Dr. Ghattas did an excellent job of recommending the treatment that was needed to maximize the future use of my hand. He explained exactly why he wanted to perform surgery to re-align the broken bone properly. The procedure went very well, and the follow-ups helped me to return to normal activity with no setbacks.
Performed a full evaluation of my problems (which were causing me to use a cane to walk). He attempted non surgical methods, which led to my being referred to a spine surgeon for Lumbar Fusion. After recovery returned to him for Total Knee replacement, followed by total hip replacement. Each procedure eliminated specific portions of the pain symptoms I was experiencing. Three months after the hip replacement, I am able to walk, unaided, and am experiencing no pain.
Dr. Ghattas is a fantastic Doctor and Surgeon. He recently replaced my right knee and I am doing great!! Thank you Dr. Ghattas
