Wow, where do I begin? I came to Dr. Ghattas for a second opinion. The very first appointment he took time to listen, explained my condition, and discussed options. I knew I had arthritis in my right knee and the pain was not good. He tried a few things to avoid surgery. (Imagine a surgeon trying to avoid surgery, but eventually we both knew a Total Knee Replacement was the right choice for me. Dr Ghattas has been my orthopedic specialist for many years. He has replaced one of my hips and one shoulder. He is my number one doctor ever. I have never had a doctor of any kind that he and his staff would take the time to listen to me and check on me. My office visits are a complete joy. I have seen Dr. Ghattas for several different problems. He has treated and operated on both shoulders, both wrists and one elbow. Dr. Ghattas didn't rush to surgery, but decided with me what was the best option for case. When he is in the room with me, it is my time and he will stay as long as I have questions or concerns. Dr. Ghattas is a fantastic doctor with a wonderful bedside manner. He thoroughly explained my condition and answered all of my questions. The only downside was the wait time for my appointment, which was a bit long. However, I found that his expertise and attentiveness made it well worth the wait. The staff were also friendly and helpful.
Rude and abrupt, arrogant and unconcerned. Dr Ghattas suppressed my questions and refused to discuss alternate treatments other than his recommendations. He also refused requests for additional testing to confirm his treatment recommendations. He made sexist remarks during the treatment discussion. I waited 2 and one half hours for a fairly routine procedure and was met with a dismissive attitude as he was more concerned with getting his lunch than completing a treatment to decrease his patient's very high pain level. Our experience with Dr Ghattas has been very positive.Great Surgeon.
I had a slip and fall in Jamaica and came into his office an absolute mess. He took some much time through my crying spells and actually listened to my concerns about my shoulder. I'm a nurse and probably the worst patient he ever had but I was so scared about my injury. Had a bankart repair and my arm is doing so much better and still on the ways to recovery. I def recommend him and his team they took the best care of me on my healing journey. I would not be where I am without his care.
Dr. Ghattas and his team are top shelf. Dr. Ghattas and team took the best care of me. They are professional, caring, decated, and experienced. Dr. Ghattas made sure I understood everything that he would be doing and answered all my question. From surgery through recovery I recieved the best of care, like a friend was taking care of me.
Very professional and cares about your personal well being! Dr. Ghattas is an excellent surgeon and has great bedside manner. He and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and comforting. I am very pleased with my experience & I highly recommend Dr. Ghattas for any of your Ortho needs!!
