I recently broke my pinky. I was assigned Dr. Timothy Iorio as my hand surgeon. Upon our first meeting, i knew i was in good hands. He explained that based on the severity of the break, i would need a plate and 4 screws. I was concerned i would never get back to the things i love to do like golf and kickboxing. He told me that if i stay the course and follow the plan, he would get me back to my active life. Three months later, i am back to most activities. Dr. Iorio is the best
I found Dr. T. Iorio to be an excellent surgeon in his specialty. I have had two surgeries done by him; one recently was a repair of a complete tear of the rt. shoulder rotator cuff, known to have a long and difficult rehab. Dr. was very patient, calm, kind and respectful of me. He gave detailed explanations of all my questions. He is very efficient and totally performs his expertise well. I felt very trusting in his professional care.
Dr. Iorio was able to surgically relieve De Quervain's tenosynovitis that had been causing serious pain for 6 months. I had been bracing prior to seeing him for 4 months. We tried a cortisone shot, but it didn't work for me due to prolonged damage. I could feel a difference within a few hours of surgery. Anyone on the fence about seeing him or having this surgery should do it. He's a fantastic doctor, well respected, and extremely knowledgeable. HIGHLY recommend.
No doubt, the most professional, courteous doctor I have ever dealt with. Very professional and informative. Pre-op and post-op care that is second to none.
Dr. Iorio, has wonderful bedside manners, he is thorough and cares about his patients. He tried everything possible before recommending surgery. Prior to surgery he thoroughly explained the process, what to expect post surgery and what I needed to do at home to ensure the surgery remained a success. He didn't mind explaining to my husband and daughter what was going on with my shoulder. He will definitely remain on my list of top 5 doctors to go to and recommend. Thank you, Dr. Iorio.
I broke my wrist and needed surgery. Dr. Iorio was wonderful. He explained everything thoroughly and was super accessible and caring. I had practically no pain after surgery and I did not have to take any pain killers other than over-the-counter ibuprofen. I definitely recommend him. He is great.

Dr. Iorio recommended surgery for the arthritis in both thumbs. I had my right one done in November, 2017 and am so pleased,I have surgery scheduled for the other in March, 2018. I am pain free and could not happier with the outcome.
My surgery was minor, but everything went well from the first visit, to a referral for testing and then the actual surgery.
