I had knee replacement surgery with Dr Ekpo. Ibegan having issues of increased pain and swelling within a month. I was seen and told that pain was normal.ifelt I was not listened to. When am xray was finally done, it showed a displaced kneecap. Dr Ekpo had injured his own knees and I had to wait,in pain, while he healed, before it was surgically repaired. Dr. Expo is very knowledgeable. I think I have finally found someone after that knows what to do with my knee pain as I have had constant pain since my knee surgery which was done by a different physician. He is very personable; you can’t help liking him. GREAT DOCTOR!
He was supposed to do a complete knee replacement. Without my permission he did a partial. Surgery did not work. A year later another surgeon who is more experienced removed partial and did a complete replacement.
He's very respectful great bed side manner. Did a great job. Will sit with you too answer any questions you have. Would recommend him to anyone that is in need of a hip surgeon.
Dr. Ekpo could not be more awesome! Calmly explained procedure and decreased my anxiety...he is intelligent, easy to talk with, often smiling. Just such a nice man...hope he stays in Jackson, we are very lucky to have him.
One and a half years ago he did a total right knee on me. Veryrespectful attentive kind and caring. I was very nervous but his kind caring nature put me at ease and surgery was very successful. I am having my other one done this month. Thanks to him and his outstanding staff I'm going be a new woman. Highly recommended..... Praising God for you and your care team
I had emergency surgery with Dr. Ekpo and received the best care I have ever received in a doctor. Very professional and his attention for well being of his patients his excellent! He is an amazing surgeon & I look forward to continuing all of my care with him. I highly recommend Dr. Ekpo to anyone looking for the best medical surgeon they could find.
