Dr. Galbreath has been my surgeon for several years. He’s one of the best I have ever had. I would trust him over anybody else in Missouri.. he treats you like a human being not a number although I don’t like MU hospital or their corporation Dr. Galbreath used to be with Capital one region but obviously they bought out Capital region. I will still go to him because I just love him don’t like the company he works for, but I trust him and MU is lucky to have him.
After putting off my total knee replacement for too long I finally did it! It’s not an easy surgery but very doable. I’m happy that I did it and very pleased with Dr Galbraith and the results.No complications at all! JUST DO the PHYSICAL THERAPY. Dr’s character is above and beyond. Truly a good man who has done many of these surgeries and knows the procedure very well. We were a team throughout.
I had my 6th and 7th shoulder surgeries with Dr. Galbraith and he is a wonderful doctor. If I could I would go back to him again since I injured my good shoulder. Best Orthopedic Dr I have ever had.
Had 1 surgery with him and it’ll be my last. He talked VERY disrespectful to me and treated me as a I was problem not a patient. His program for me ended up resulting in having more injuries to the knee that was just worked on. Arrogant, Disrespectful, Unhelpful.
Went to Dr Galbraith as a second opinion! He was on time for my appointment! He listened, then explained what he seen on xrays and MRI! He made a point to show me my xrays and what was going on! Then he gave me options! Didn't know I had options! Took me to xrays again to explain each procedure! I was hooked! He listened and explained EVERYTHING including before and after procedure! He's done two surgeries and I had good results but when I was seen last visit they refused to treat torn rotator cuff. Because it was work comp but I was unhappy with doctor I couldn't trust. I left Galbraiths office with no exam, no relief and feeling helpless.
If it’s not a sports related injury, he doesn’t seem to give much of a care. He will speak above your head and not give much in the way of explanation. His staff is the WORST. I’ve had required work documentation filled out or fixed multiple times. When told I would be seeking a second opinion, they shredded the documents claiming that they “thought I wouldn’t need it”. This doctor is dishonest, his nurse noted that in the computer records he indicated he was seeing me at least 15 minutes before I actually saw him, he was very insulting, kept me waiting a long time, and did not help me with my knee pain a bit. He was short tempered with me because I could not do a deep knee bend, duh I was in a lot of pain. I left his office in tears and with no help.
