I went to the showroom to look at flooring samples, and after I told them my budget, it was like I was a joke. I had them come out to measure and to give me quotes with the 3 different samples I picked out. This happened on a Thursday, was told that they would get my quotes to me by Friday morning as I am on a bit of a time crunch. Nothing. I emailed them that afternoon to check to see when quotes would be done and they told me Monday. Now it’s Monday afternoon and still have not heard a word from them. Despite these favorable reviews on Facebook, please do your homework before you decide to hire Timberland to install a wood floor in your home. Beware in particular of 5-star reviews with no accompanying description. Ask yourself why does one of the owners (Ken Sauls) feel the need to give his own business a 5-star review? Is that smart marketing or just a blatant attempt to boost his own metrics? Timberland recently laid new wood floors in our living room to match the dining room/kitchen (and refinish those), and they are BEAUTIFUL. The installers and finisher were very friendly, helpful and professional. But I want to give a major shout out to Ken, who went above and beyond for us today. We are sensitive to VOC’s, and after two coats of oil-based finish, decided we weren’t going to be able to hack the third coat application. I am very pleased that I went with Timberland Hardwood Floors for a large project I recently had done at my home -- replaced all of the main floor carpeting with wood to match the wood already in place in the kitchen and hallway. They made sure it came out perfect.
