Going to the dentist isn't as traumatic as it used to be! Dr. Leatherwood and staff go above and beyond to make you feel as comfortable as possible whether you're waiting to be seen or in the chair. They will always ask if you're doing okay even during the smallest procedures. I would recommend this office to anyone. If you've had bad experiences with dentists in the past, don't think twice about visiting this one - just do it.
Our family has been looking for a good, caring, conservative dentist for the past 8 mos and we finally found one ! Dr. Leatherwood and staff! They are amazing!! From Dr.Leatherwood to each staff member, they were all thorough and each one of them took the time to explain everything and they were never in a hurry! What a wonderful experience it was! Everyone was wonderful and made my experience very good. I was nervous and was put at ease by letting me know what was happening and what was next which was very important to me.
Dr Leatherwood and her staff took amazing care of me and my needs during my initial consultation and first dental procedure. I have a severe dental phobia but they made my visits very easy and comfortable. I highly recommend Dr Leatherwood!
Daughter had a great experience at the dentist. No pain and loved it.
As a first time patient I was delighted with the genuinely personal, and friendly welcome. Dr. Leatherwood and her personal assistant were very thorough, explained the process, and answered my questions along the way. Going for a dentist appointment in the past has been dreadful, but after my pleasant experience at Dr. Leatherwood's nice facility I actually look forward to my next visit.
I know when her practice grows, she will eventually hire a hygienist, but I really enjoyed having the dentist herself do the cleaning. Dr. Leatherwood was very thorough, but gentle, when cleaning my teeth. In other practices, I've sometimes felt that the hygienist was using me to prop herself up, but none of that here! At the end, she took time for a final sweep, looking for any little "rough spots." In this same visit I had annual X-rays done.
