Very large campground with lots of activities for kids! Super cool bike trails and ramps, bounce pad, pool, dodgeball etc. campground site layouts were a little confusing and we wish there was more grass (mostly all dirt). But, well shaded sites, which is nice. Downside was there were only 2 bathhouses that we saw and you had to pay to take a shower. Other than that no complaints. Friendly staff. Nice camp store. Close to traverse city.
Three years in a row we have had a wonderful time.
This was a very enjoyable camping experience! We stayed a week and there was so much for the kids going on! The pool was so clean and well cared for! Staff was excellent, the kids running the dodgeball were so good with the smaller kids. The sites were very large, plenty of room, we had 5 campsites next to or across the street from each other and it seemed like we had an acre of land 😂. We will definitely be back!
We love it here. Such a great place for kids. I feel like there’s always something going on in the summer for them to do. �
I really like it here. Great for kids. But they do not enforce the speed limit in the park. I don’t understand why folks feel the need to drive so fast to their campsite. There will be child that will be run over.
Very close to town. Only complaints: 1. There was no grass --all sites are just sand which = a muddy mess after the rain 2. Sites are very uneven and would be so much nicer if they were made level
Great place to vacation! Kids love it, great atmosphere!
Great place with so many options. Camp, cottages, cabins and rv hook ups. Minutes to Traverse City and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park.
We come here every year with a large group of friends and family. We look forward to this getaway every year! The kids love dodge ball and the many activities as well as the camp store. Its great to be so close to Traverse City too. See you in July!
