I’m a regular customer who usually comes in late at night, and I know from the staff themselves that fresh decaf takes a few minutes since not many people order it at that time. I’m used to waiting around five minutes for my coffee. But last night, I politely asked, Hope this is decaf? You handed it over a bit quicker than usual, and the night-shift employee snapped back rudely, “Would you like me to show you my machine?” in a sarcastic tone.
