Expensive and Not Satisfying – It's all the same gravy, different names - tons of onion and tomatoes - very little main ingredients. The owner seems to spend more time gossiping, smoking, and watching TV than do take orders or helping out the patrons.
I'M IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE. – The food is just perfect. It's actually something that you would expect your mom cooking (if you're indian or pakistani). It's so good, it makes your mouth water. Try the Goat Biryani. It's the BEST.
My favorite Indian/Pakistani restaurant! – This is my favorite Indian/Pakistani restaurant in and around the Bay Area. I have been going there for at least a year, and if you love authentic Indian/Pakistani food but would rather not eat all the cream or yogurt sauces then this is your place. They have awesome Saag Paneer (Spinach and homemade cheese). Other favorites are Biryani, Chicken Karahi, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Daal. You should try for yourself!
Excellent Indian Cuisine! – This is the first time that I am writing a review for any restaurant. My husband and I were quite unhappy with the kind of Indian food we were having until we’ve found the Indian restaurant on Ellis. The food here is very authentic and tasty. I would definitely recommend this to my friends.
Absolutely worth it! – I've managed to not actually cry out "OOH!" but it was not easy. I ate there two nights on a recent trip (stayed at the Hilton). Excellent quality, attentive service, and generous portions.
