Before I went into my eye appointment, the black woman at the counter looked straight at me and said, " you have to pay in advance". I gave my insurance info to her to run it through. She said she would and they are a provider with my insurance. When I contacted my insurance company, they said she never sent it through, and I should have only had to pay a $50 co-pay. When I started coming here the service was welcoming and pleasant. However, over the past year and ½ the service has diminished significantly. I could not get service whenever I called, it was always we are checking patients in and out and we would need to call you back. The call backs never came. I would call and leave messages and no return call. I tried to overlook the 1st year thinking maybe it is a transition period, it was not. This last visit was the last straw. Tiffany has given me clear vision and has a incredible staff behind her. Because she uses new technologies and monitors my actual eyes and all that vision really is, I’m confident in saying she’s one of the best. Plus she is incredibly empathetic and easy to understand… she took the mystery out of my vision issues and I literally can see more clearly.
The office quoted me $169 for the service I requested. Upon arrival the owner Dr. Kim stated that ALL of her out-of-pocket eye exams are $264. She acknowledged that her staff misquotes people but refuses to honor those quotes. They also require that you chose services that you may not need. If you refuse this exploited eye exam and leave you'll be charged a "no-show" fee. Pricing on services change arbitrarily and the staff is unable to explain their charges.
