Beware of Condo #1818 at Tidewater Beach Resort rented by Escala Vacation Rentals! Black Mold in Bathroom! All condos we stayed in are very nice except for condo# 1818 rented by Escala Vacation Rentals. We rented this condo Jan 4th 2026 for 5 weeks in hopes of a nice winter vacation. On day one we experienced terrible conditions. Black mold in the bathroom. Security door that would not lock from inside our outside. We LOVE this place!!! We have stayed here 2 times!! 😊 It is very secure... love the beach and ALL the pools and hot tubs! Highly recommend 👌 this place... already making plans for next year 😉😁 P.S. Lots of Cats 🐈 😻 So fun to play with... your not supposed to feed them tho! 😊
We had a fantastic family stay at this condo in Panama City Beach. The location was ideal—right on the beach—and the balcony was a huge highlight for us. Sitting out there with coffee in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening became part of our daily routine. The condo itself was clean, comfortable, and well laid out for a family trip.
