They saw to my dog quickly but he was too ill to save unfortunately and had to be put to sleep. The staff was very nice but the price to put him to sleep racked up to $500! Use this place for extreme emergencies only!

I thought the staff were very kind and honest with me about my little buddy. I don't know why people complain so much. Its an emergency vet!! So if your pet is being brought here, there is a good chance it might not make it out.... it will be expensive either way. I had to have my pet put down and it sucks, but that is life and he had a better life with me that he would have, had I not rescued him. He had heart disease and had a blood clot in his legs that paralyzed him. There was also fluid in his lungs from his heart probl... read more

Mind numbingly slow. With four people in the waiting room, it has taken literally hours (3) and our pet hasn't even been seen. And the "staff" has said nothing at all. You'd think you'd get word about something, some sort of status, about wait times, about anything...but, no. I give them an unacceptable "F".

From the second we arrived, the staff was extremely sympathetic and very professional. We brought Olive in at around 3am with what ended up being a broken leg. The doctor was very good and explained our options very thoroughly. When we picked Olive up after her procedure, they had obviously taken very good care of her and had even put little h... read more

We took our poor sweet doggie Duke, who had been battling bladder cancer for over a year, to Tidewater Animal Emergency Sunday night at 4 am when he was acting like he was in pain. Our poor sweet love passed away between the time my husband took him from the car and the time the vet could even examine him, probably less than a minute. The reason I'm giving this ER 5 stars is because they only charged us for Duke's cremation when they technically could have charged us for their time and the consultation the vet had with us re... read more
