I'd give no stars if that were an option...My husband and I have been long term customers for years and years but have never been treated so badly as today...We had the rudest waitress...her name is Jamey K #1056...We were seated on the deck...had a lovely view but started getting chilly so we saw a waiter clearing a table in the sun and we asked if we could move to it since we were cold...he politely said of course so we moved...when Jamey came back to the deck she aggressively told us in front of 4 other tables with diners... read more
This is one of my husbands favorite places to hang out, enjoying a beer and a burger looking out over the harbor.
A Must Visit While in Gig Harbor This one-of-a-kind restaurant offers patrons an outstanding bar type menu including delicious pizzas and tasty burgers. Their great beer selection suits every taste. The Tides has a dock for boaters, as well as waterfront seating that highlights the mouth of Gig Harbor and many of the interesting homes that crowd the shoreline. WOW This place is awesome to hold meetings in. Or so my mom says. I am not old enough, but she says it's really quiet and relaxed and the prices are great.
great access by boat or car This is a popular place for boaters. They can tie up at the restaurants dock and enjoy a great casual meal. The ambiance is nautical and loud. 21 and over only. (They serve alcohol) Live music at night.
Good Food We went to the Tides a few months back, and it wasn't what I remember it being years before. It's a pretty old establishment. The food was good, but not great. The pricing was competitive. I found it crowded and felt a little out of place. It was OK - I wouldn't go out of my way to go back though.
Always worth it!! If you want a good burger or a basket of excellent halibut and chips the Tides can accomidate you. Excellent food, outdoor seating on the dock available at times, TV's to watch sports, and a friendly atmosphere.
So fun! Great fun place to go with friends! Right on the Harbor so the view is beautiful, especially from out on the deck. Very good food for bar food. Sandwiches, burgers, and especially the steak salad - all awesome! The staff if very friendly too!
Great food & atmosphere We stopped here while in Gig Harbor for burgers and were impressed. The interior is casual but very nice in an excellent location. The food was very good and the staff very friendly and accomodating.
