stayed in the older rooms a week ago. rotting plywood and filthy, unusable, unsafe bathtub outside. very sad, it used to be quaint.
We stayed there about a month ago... it’s very run down ...it could be a lovely place with some money and a little TLC put into it. The staff are very nice but it’s not worth the money you pay per day.
The room was filthy! A fake nail by the end table, cough drop wrappers, the towels are ones I'd dry my dogs with, I've never seen such a filthy low quality hotel room. The only reason we stayed was because of the jacuzzi tub and the view! I didn't ask for a refund, simply because the front desk people were like dumb and dumber.

This is a great place for a weekend getaway! We loved the jacuzzi tub on the balcony, great views and nice continental breakfast! Made for a wonderful weekend!
The only thing this place had going for it was the beautiful view!!! I had to wash the jacuzzi tub myself before I could use it! The ice bucket still had a previous guests melted ice in it. I moved the garbage can in the bathroom and there was a gum wrapper with previous guests hair on it. Don’t bring food back to your room either because there will be ants everywhere by morning. When I come back to Port Townsend I will definitely be finding a different place to stay!!!! Definitely not worth the money we paid ):
We are on night 2 of 4. Rooms are clean. The view is great. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Walking distance from downtown. A great hotel.
