Got stuck in traffic due to an accident on HWY 17, called to let them know I was going to be a little late. Already drove over an hour to get to my appointment with my 4 month old and 1 year old. They told me if I made it there within 10 minutes past my appointment I could still be seen, made it there within 8 minutes and they wouldn’t see me and told me I had to reschedule. Tidelands Health has the most unorganized health facilities.
Jodi Ann was fantastic. She has a gift for establishing rapport with patients. Be aware that if you’re looking at your phone in the waiting room, it could delay your being called back for bloodwork. Tawana (I think) punished me for looking at my phone in the waiting room by delaying calling me back for my blood work. Came out three time to call me, but “thought I must be busy” because I was looking at my phone. Eventually, the receptionist told me that they were ready for me.
Got an appointment same day (Friday) with Paige Weaver who was very professional and solved my “out of control” allergic skin reaction. I didn't follow the instructions for the anti-histamine and after the itch waned it was coming back. This time, same day appointment (Friday) with Dixon, who prescribed me stronger antihistamines and today (Saturday) I’m itch free. I went to this office with a serious concern Paige Werner was extremely judgmental and disrespectful. Before walking into the room she was loudly speaking to her trainee about the elderly patient across the way and making a joke about him. As well as the whole office probably heard my whole medical history, no regard for HIPPA laws. Hurrendous bedside manner.
