This my main mechanic that I go to for everything that has to do with my car. They are honest about work and pricing which is why I love going to them. I am giving 4 stars because their was as issue with my blower that they were not able to fix. Besides that they are great.
Tico's Automotive is a locally-owned shop, and Tico is that rare honest, intelligent mechanic with an entrapenurial spirit and a sense of compassion. About these negative reviews: No, he won't quote a firm price before checking your car, because, unlike other mechanics, he'll only charge you for what actually needs to be fixed. We've been going to Tico for several years now and will continue to take our vehicles to his shop. His expertise and knowledge have served my family well, as we are thankful there is someone in town who genuinely cares about his customers. He and his staff are always professional and straight forward - thanks Tico for all what you do!
I took my Rodeos to Tico for 10 years and I always got good service and I felt, fair prices. He was a pleasure to deal with and I never had any problems there. I have a new Honda now and as soon as the warranties go off, I will take it to him.
I have taken two vehicles to Tico for over 7 years and the service has been great. He's always honest and has never recommended anything that wasn't necessary. He's even advised me about my older cars when they're not worth fixing. I drive from South Reno to his garage just because of how much we trust him. Always great service.
I have been going to this shop for many many years, and i am always happy with this service, they go above and beyond for you, he is always honest and never offered me something I didn't need. I wouldn't go anywhere else, the owner is trustworthy and very friendly, I love their service and I would recommend them 100% :)
I really don't understand the negative reviews? I and my family have taken all our automobiles to Ticos and never , never had anything but top notch service!! The price and quality of his work on our vehicles is the best in town bar none!! He also is a very generous sponsor of Sparks High School athletics.
