Recently purchased B16 Coilovers for my MK8 Volkswagen GTI and received a faulty Rear Shock Absorber. After installing the mounts on the 2 Front Struts and the other Rear Shock, the Shock Rod of the last one snapped off on install. This would've been a safety concern if I had installed without first realizing it had snapped. Bilstein will not warranty their faulty product even after acknowledging it was faulty, but that I'll have to purchase a replacement out-of-pocket. After contacting Bilstein regarding nitrogen PSI and valving for my specific application I can tell that their customer service will lie straight to your face. Thanks for helping me purchase from KYB!
Bought a set of 6112 Bilstein Struts. Brand new, had a bad one right out of the box. Bilstein DECLINED the warranty because my Tahoe has a leveling kit.. hahaha. 6112 is suppose to be an off-road strut but make sure you don't add anything else to make it an off-road vehicle or Bilstein will decline your claim. Bummer... another manufacture that does not stand behind their parts and warranty.
