2016 4Runner TRD Pro 6112 & 5160 replacement after 175000 miles plus b8 upper control arms. Still impressed with all things Bilstein. Great products and good tech support if you are willing to hold for them as thay must stay busy. All in all i see people putting other struts and shocks on their 4Runners but Bilstein has been building this stuff way way longer than the others. Had to go with what i know & trust.
Recently purchased B16 Coilovers for my MK8 Volkswagen GTI and received a faulty Rear Shock Absorber. After installing the mounts on the 2 Front Struts and the other Rear Shock, the Shock Rod of the last one snapped off on install. This would've been a safety concern if I had installed without first realizing it had snapped. Bilstein will not warranty their faulty product even after acknowledging it was faulty, but that I'll have to purchase a replacement out-of-pocket.
