Thunderbird Hospice of the valley center is SO WONDERFUL Debbie and Laura were SOOO Caring, Considerate,Compassionate! They went above and beyond to help assist my mom to transition into the afterlife. Words can’t explain how grateful and how much WE APPRECIATE you wonderful beautiful ladies! My mom really cared and adored the both of you. She bonded with both Debbie and Laura. When you deal with death on a DAILY level that is some hard work. But they made my mom extremely comfortable!!! Mi esposa estuvo en este lugar siempre fueron muy atentos con ella no tengo palabras de agradecimiento solo quiero decir gracias por todo ella se fue en un lugar donde la trataron como si fuera su hogar lo mejor que pudo sentir el aire de fuera ya que las puertas esteriores de su cuarto se podían abrir cosa que en el hospital siempre pedia
My first question after I settled in was. Why did I wait so long. Much more comfortable bed, super clean. IV meds no more pills. Yes hospice isn't a fun stage of life but here they make it much easier to endure. The staff was incredibly and easy to get along with. Couple days in they sat me in a chair and I had an extremely nice warm shower. Dr Frank know his stuff with decades of experience. he looked peaceful on the drugs they finally gave him that they were not giving him in the hospital. nice rooms & next to thunderbird hospital
We had some wonderful staff while my Dad was here at the end of his life. A few issues happened that simply should not have happened. We felt quite uncomfortable a few times as staff would sit at a desk about 10ft from Dads room and laugh obnoxiously and loudly throughout the day. When we emailed the facility regarding this a head nurse came a few days later to explain "that's her personality, there's nothing I can do about it."
