I went back and forth about leaving this review but decided that it might help others. My loved one was in this facility and the staff was very mixed. Perla the night nurse was awful. Her bedside manner was absolutely terrible and she did not address our concerns and lacked compassion. If you your loved one is here please have someone stay with them at night.
My wife passed on June 23. Now the dust has settled, funeral was wonderful with lots of cards and flowers and the thank you notes have been sent. In mid-June, a very bad nite caused me to call our hospice nurse for help. After explaining the situation, she said, let me make a few phone calls and I’ll get right back to you. Within a few minutes, she called telling me where to go asking if we needed transport, I took my wife to the Thunderbird facility where they quickly got her settled and gave her pain meds. Felt so welcomed and the energy here is so calming, I am currently going through a tough time, currently letting our grandmother peacefully rest here. Unfortunate circumstances but this place makes me feel safe and I know there are amazing nurses doing their best. They’re extremely accommodating to the patient's families, I’m currently in the waiting living room area that has a side kitchen for visitors to make themselves a quick coffee for your morning pick me up and a nice bowl of oatmeal, but most importantly they let you... read more

Thunderbird Hospice of the valley center is SO WONDERFUL Debbie and Laura were SOOO Caring, Considerate,Compassionate! They went above and beyond to help assist my mom to transition into the afterlife. Words can’t explain how grateful and how much WE APPRECIATE you wonderful beautiful ladies! My mom really cared and adored the both of you. She bonded with both Debbie and Laura. When you deal with death on a DAILY level that is some hard work. But they made my mom extremely comfortable!!!
