I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of compassion and flexibility shown by Thrive Therapy in Fort Myers. I had to cancel my son’s session last minute due to a medical emergency — I came home to find him crying on the floor in pain. I called the office immediately, and the woman I spoke with could clearly hear him in distress. She even acknowledged that, given the circumstances, she didn’t believe we would be charged the late cancellation fee. I started therapy at Thrive Therapy to address my anxiety, hoping for support and consistency in my treatment. Unfortunately, my experience has been anything but that. Just a week into starting, my therapist informed me they were leaving the practice. Thrive immediately stated they would transfer me to someone else, but it felt rushed and impersonal, as though I was just another number in their system.
