I cannot say enough wonderful things about Rowan and Sydney at Thrive Midwifery. I am so grateful for the care they gave me and for helping me have the home birth of my dreams. The best midwife team in the area!!! With Sydney & Rowan’s help I was able to achieve the home water birth of my dreams despite being 38 with an auto immune disease. I found them both respectful of my desires for a hands off approach AND also very medically competent in helping me navigate the safest method to achieve this. If you want a home birth- you’re gonna want the balanced and loving team at Thrive ❤️
When I became pregnant, I felt a strong pull to home birth. I couldn’t see myself comfortable in a hospital. So much surrounding home birth gets put as unconventional. Rowan and Sydney are like chocolate and peanut butter- wonderful on their own but an amazing pair! I loved having them present for the birth of my third child. I had some issues with being dropped by a local birth center and within 24 hours of me receiving this news, I was in the care of Thrive Midwifery. Obsessed doesn’t even begin to explain how my husband and I feel about Rowan and Sydney! I would like to start off my saying, I 100% knew in my heart and soul, a homebirth was my only option. As someone who spent multiple occasions in the hospital as a kid, I was fully against the conventional medical system for the birth of my first son.
