This was my first visit to Thrive Hair Bar - DC (Salon). My sister had gone 2-3 times, and she told me she had a really good experience. I’m happy to say that I had a really good experience as well. Naayo was gentle, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional (as well as everyone there). The washing experience was relaxing. I felt like I was at the spa. I found my Natural Hair Care Stylist in Naayo - some say they know how to do natural hair - but either cut way too much or don't use the right products for your hair, its not all the same...my hair is healthy and thriving under Naayo and she's super pleasant. 🧡🤩
This is the best experience I've ever had at a salon! If I could give a higher rating, I would. I highly recommend (not just for people who want their hair styled, but for people who take hair care and hair management seriously).
Chris was amazing I had a wash and go with a trim and she ate my hair up 1000/10 she even gave me good product recommendations which I’m very grateful for I will definitely be making this my regular salon
After my most recent visit to Thrive, I’ve accepted that I’m not the target audience for this salon and its business model. I saw Kellie for Enchanting flat twists on 8/23. On the positive side, she identified a scalp condition (likely worsened by an allergic reaction to synthetic hair I wore last month) that I will be addressing with my dermatologist.
