I used to visit Dr. Vawter at Thrive Dermatology. Recently, I received a notice informing me that she was closing her office, and I had a limited time to transfer my records to another dermatologist or face additional charges. Fortunately, I found an excellent dermatologist at Bluebonnet Dermatology in McKinney. Dr. Zhang was incredibly helpful and kind, and now my entire family has transferred our care to her. If anyone else needs a new dermatologist after Dr. Vawter closes, I highly recommend Bluebonnet Dermatology.
Just visited Thrive Dermatology……everyone was so friendly…..from the staff to Dr Vawter herself……thorough examination and consultation……I highly recommend this practice
Staff was courteous and Dr Vawter was very understanding and caring.
I have been coming to this dermatologist for a couple of years now and i really love it here. Everyone is kind from the front desk clerk, to the assistants, and the doctor. Very great “bedside “ manner. Dr. Vawter explains things well and give you all of your options. She listens with care and overall great. I will continue to come here as long as i can.
Doctor is very kind, thorough and professional. She takes her time with you and always asks about you and listens. She does always seem super-busy, though - always ready to rush off even when they honestly don't seem that busy. The staff can certainly be curt, so be aware of this - you better come with your questions and issues well in hand. I came for some weird spots on my arm which we said were warts. We froze them off for a while and she cleared me back in early summer. A few of them seem to be re-appearing though.
