Bad experience. Plane was late so rang thrifty to get my car and it said they were closed even though online said they were still open. Got to the counter closed. Asked a staff member she said go outside and go to thrifty. We did and it was shut. Went to go line up for a car. Thought I would go back and ask hertz. And yep they helped me thank goodness. There is no signage to say hertz could help because thrifty is closed. We could have paid for 2 uber trips. Other families were in the same boat!!! Where is Ur signs. Never ag... read more
I don't want to give Thrifty Adelaide Airport 1 Star, had the worst experience of my life. The car given was not the car that I ordered and when I put my luggage in the boot the car stunk of cigarette smoke. Told the counter straight away, to be told "Nobody is allowed to smoke in our cars" .This car should never been hired out. It wrecked my short time away for a wedding and I will never hire from Thrifty and their partners ever again. I complained and never got a response and they all just gave me the runaround.
