During my visit, the front desk employee an Indian male working at the reception area treated me with complete disrespect. Not only was the overall customer service appalling, but he also made an inappropriate and derogatory comment toward me. This kind of behavior is entirely unprofessional, hostile, and unacceptable in any customer facing environment, let alone a healthcare setting where patients expect to be treated with dignity and respect. The waiting area is cramped, phones ring constantly without being answered, and lines back up quickly because there are never enough staff members working the register. To top it all off, the store smells like a fish market, making an already unpleasant wait completely unbearable.

I love everyone who works at Thriftway Pharmacy! I feel like Sherrie, Nicole, and the wonderful Owner/Pharmacist treat me and many others like “family,” not just a number, when listening to health concerns and explaining medications. This is how I found them, hearing so many positive comments from their current customers. The “hometown” feel of this store doesn’t exist anywhere else anymore, unfortunately.
