RecommendedFantastic folks; so willing to take the time to advise on tackle for a starter without over selling. I actually left spending less then I planned based on their recommendations. I will be back over and over again!
Great place for advice, lots of knowledge of local fisheries. They will always point you in the right direction with gear, bait, tackle etc. They are trustworthy and some real genuine people. They may not tell the funniest jokes but it's getting better! Stop in for some local flavor, take a look around and enjoy our local Alaskan Fly & Tackle shop!
Been going here since I was a child. Glad to see little cosmetic lifts in the business but still same ole store when you go inside. A piece of home you will never forget when you enter. Mike & AJ are some good people and will always be able to help you find what you need.

Mike and AJ were super helpful, I went in there knowing nothing about fly fishing. they asked what i wanted to fish for then showed me what to run, how to run it and inspected my gear to make sure i was squared away. highly recommend their shop.
