Our History In 1910, Thrashers Opera House was built on Mill Street in downtown Green Lake by Charlie Thrasher. It first hosted vaudeville and traveling theatrical companies, but is best remembered for the movies that Charlie showed as soon as electricity became available, around 1912. A favorite reminiscence about the Opera House is that when the mail arrived in town, the movie would stop and the crowd would go across the street to pick up theirmail. Doesn't get much better than this! 200 seat venue, top artists. March always brings the bands from Ireland to kick off St Patrick's celebrations. Come and enjoy a show!

This is such a special place! You can safely buy tickets to any show, the musical director manages to always book high quality artist. Every concert is a unique and intimate experience!
Wonderful space to listen to a great selection of music. General seating is not a problem as there are no bad seats in the house. Go and enjoy.
My daughter and I loved seeing Rickie Lee Jones at the Thrasher Friday evening. First time seeing Rickey Lee in person ( front row) and first time at the Thrasher... what a terrific night!
Great show in a great venue for Richie Furay Band! My family and I loved it!! Thanks to Thrasher and the great sponsors who brought them here. Our first time to experience this venue and we look forward to coming back soon.
