Our History In 1910, Thrashers Opera House was built on Mill Street in downtown Green Lake by Charlie Thrasher. It first hosted vaudeville and traveling theatrical companies, but is best remembered for the movies that Charlie showed as soon as electricity became available, around 1912. A favorite reminiscence about the Opera House is that when the mail arrived in town, the movie would stop and the crowd would go across the street to pick up theirmail. What a great venue!! They consistently bring top rate talent to the charming resort town of Green Lake. It's always wirth the drive. Good sound, friendly folks, intimate concerts with quality artists!
A wonderful venue in Green Lake !!! Have been attending live music performances here for 4 years and LOVE it !! We are truly blessed to have a place like this in town . If u haven’t been to a show here you are truly missing out !!
