I underwent both a colonoscopy and a gastroscopy performed by Dr. Almamar two days ago. The procedures appeared to take less than 10 minutes in total. I was discharged in under 30 minutes, before I was fully awake from sedation. Approximately three hours later, I experienced severe stomach pain and bleeding. I visited this clinic after dealing with intense pain and discomfort for a few weeks. I thought it was hemorrhoids but the pain was so intense and the discomfort so great that I could barely stand, walk, cough, laugh or even lie down. Dr. Ashwin Maharaj is a consummate professional, has a great and topical sense of humour but above all is highly competent.
