Orthopecic My daughter was having problems with her foot last year, so we went to see Dr Thornbury. She liked his name. They took xrays and said she has an extra bone in her foot. She wore a cast for a couple of weeks. This took some of the stress off of her foot. He then recommended wearing good shoes (not flip flops). He said if the problem continues they can make a shoe insert. The next step would be surgery. I really liked that he didn't jump to surgery first. Great Physicians and Services AOS has seven orthopaedic doctors/surgeon's. They are highly skilled and caring. I personally would recommend any doctor at this office. The staff is caring.
Who we turn too.. We have been using this practice every since we moved to Montgomery. Dr. Walcott, Jr. is great. He is very thorough in his examinations, which is what you want your Doctor to be. He is friendly and knowledgeable. He also talks to you about your options and then listens to what you say as well. If you have to have outside testing, they don't make you go to one specific place, they have always allowed us to use facilities closer to our home. The staff is friendly and compassionate.
