If I could give Thompson Kane a 0, I would. When we first started shopping for mortgages in late February, we spoke to Jim Cortese at Thompson Kane and he assured us that he was locking us in at a rate under 4%, which at the time, we were excited about, as the mortgage rates were starting to climb. Communication was not clear, two people were trying to help us and were not clear about what we needed on our end. A week before closing we were told that everything was in order then at 8 PM the night before closing were told that we were missing paperwork. Did not know closing costs ahead of time. A month after closing we are still waiting on them for payment information

My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Patrick from Thompson Kane & Company while in the process of buying a very unique home. The home was being used a commercial business at the time of our purchase, although was originally built in the 1920's as a single family home. Securing a mortgage on this home was a challenging process - we were turned away by our original lender as they were not able to offer flexibility while we waited for the next zoning hearing by the city to allow our home to be reverted back to single-fa... read more

Thompson Kane & Company did a really great job guiding us through the process of getting our first mortgage. They were very clear about what we needed to provide and followed through on the promises they made on their end. They were warm and welcoming every step of the way. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I had to provide the same documents a couple of times to different people on their team, rather than just the once. :)

This firm in particular Dio G******* and MJ went above and beyond to execute our loan. They worked literally day and night to ensure the process moved along, working with all parties involved and being so professional and responsive at all times! I highly recommend this business!!!
