Easy to open up to, he actually cares.
I went to the office on 10-11 to get a new script as my script was not honored where I work and low and behold there were for RENT signs on the window!!!!!! No notice, no call nothing!!!!! Verry upset a couple months ago kept canceling my appt would not return phone call left me hanging without any medication and no alternative doctor I can see was canceling previous appts saying he was sick I understand him being sick but how you treat a person that has issues and on medication just to drop seeing you no phone calls about appts called for 2 months now I'm waiting 3 months for a new doctor sick or not this was handled very very unprofessional and wrong !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No. There's nothing that I want to leave you with.
Stay away. There is a reason Walmart and Walgreens no longer accept his prescriptions. He'll write you anything you want and that is not a good thing. No eye contact during sessions he will just ask you how you feel and prescribe whatever. Bad news.
I was a patient a number of years ago. He was unbelievably able to relate compassionately to me.
I admire and appriciate his attentiveness and genuine concern towards my underlying issues at hand. I like how it's not a check in and go kind of thing. Dr. Wickstrom remembers things we have talked about previously. He explains and discusses the different type of treatment options. Not just one. He follows up with me on how a trial treatment is going. And if it isnt working, he goes over other ones. I like and appriciate dr. Wickstrom because he knows what hes talking about, hes a great psychiatrist/doctor. Thank you dr. Wi... read more
He was excellent. I found him to be very professional and he listens and was compassionate.
I saw Dr. Wikstrom on the referral of my primary care doctor several years ago when I needed a new psychiatrist. I've had depression and anxiety disorder since I was 16 years old. He was initially helpful, though I would have appreciated eye contact when I was talking. The second visit, he diagnosed me with Adult ADD and prescribed a highly addictive stimulant which gave me heart palpitations. He tried me on several antidepressants but I gave up after his office staff was very rude.
