A recent reviewer, Don Wilcox, stated Magees is white only. I was here when the person that commented came to this business. He brought his own drink and was upset when security turned him around. Magees has a 95% black staff including his manager. I am black and frequent this establishment weekly. He is far from racist and that comment should be deleted. RACIST!!! Do NOT visit this place. Everyone was rude from management, host, security. They do not like black people. The manager told security “is everything good with this guy” only because I was black! Instead, go to Vivio. Security was very welcoming, I had three different people approaching me at the door as if I was family welcoming me to attend their beautiful establishment. So this is the 3rd time we have been here and I have to say I was put off by the wait staff every time. They seem to be in no hurry to attend to the patrons as it again was at least 20 mins. Before someone came over to take our drink order, and for being a full bar they have limited choices. The only vodka they have is Ketal One, and the wine is horrible. The female wait staff in peticular seem to have an attitude and are very cold. We will not be coming back here any time soon.
All the staff was very rude and every time I ordered the same thing the prices kept changing and they snatch money out hands and don’t give change back owner is very rude I will never come back and if your black I wouldn’t visit and they let babies into the bar
