Not a place I would tell any child to go. I got charged for xrays that were not done! The staff is very unkind and cold!
Staff is rude! They will not allow parents to accompany your child even if they are young. My child is 5 and nervous and dr. thomas wouldnt allow me to sit in the room. The staff very unprofessional and inexperienced! The cleaning was terrible and rough on baby teeth! The doctor and stafff disliked answering questions reguarding dental health. Save yourself go to a better place!!!
He has always been very nice and friendly and answers my questions well. My daughter has seen him since age 3.
We took our daughter, who was three at the time, to see Dr. Hollander. Our daughter has down syndrome, so sight unseen by him we were told that she would be restrained while in the dentist chair. Since we questioned this we were taken into his office and met with him. He told us that it was his practice to restrain special needs kids. He has never seen our child before in his life! It is unfair to prejudge a child like that! Be warned, we left and never went back!!
My son had a terrible experience at this office. The staff were abrupt and harsh with my son. The cleaning and filling were a terrible ordeal for him. Consequently he became very frightened of dental care and didn't want to cooperate the next time. They do not allow parents to go to the treatment area with their child. We changed dentists.
Dr. Hollander is a great dentist with the perfect facility for kids. The waiting room is very family friendly with tons of things to keep the kids entertained if you have to wait for your appointment. (In ten years we've never had to wait longer than a few minutes.) And the exam and treament area is almost as much fun for the kids. There are games and toys and the entire place is decorated kid-friendly. My mother and I love Dr. Meyer. His assistant is a little nosy, but the Doctor is wonderful. Very calming, very soothing, very nice, very empathetic. I would recommend to anyone!!!
Extremely compassionate, perfectionist about how everything fits, never had a problem after work was completed, they call to remind you about appt the day before. He's interested in everything, and you're never bored while you're there. Hygenist is wonderful. Also does general dentistry.
