Dr. Jones was very knowledgeable and explained everything that was going to be done when he did my hip replacement. The staff and Dr. Jones are very professional and very caring.
He did knee replacement—very nice job, very friendly,excellent bedside manner & spends time with me.

I lived with a bad hip for over 7 years before seeing Dr. Jones. Dr. Jones thoroughly explained the options available (2009), what to expect after surgery, physical therapy that would be required, and longevity of the replaced hip. I followed Dr. Jones regimen to the tee and was back to work in under 2 months. I have since ran 5 half marathons, countless 5k's, perform resistance training regularly, and have a very active life. My grandmother was recently seen by Dr Jones at Trumbull Memorial. Despite our best efforts to stay away from him (recommended by most people) he seems to be the ONLY Ortho on call at all times, which seems strange to me. She had dislocated her elbow 3 days prior and was in a splint. She was in the hospital for something totally unrelated to her elbow injury and she requested her splint be taken off. Doctor did not follow through with physical therapy after my surgery. Doctor was more concerned with money instead of my well being. I am worse off know than I was before my surgery.
Dr. Jones was recommended to me by a friend, and I'm glad I went to see him. He is a very caring, kind, so helpful, intelligent and understanding doctor who takes time to explain things, will show you your xrays to help you identify potential problems, and answers questions thoroughly. I would trust him if I need surgery in the future. The office staff, however are another story. You are not greeted upon arrival, when checking out, it seems as if they are not happy to be there. He is so really caring and patient and did a great job with my total hip replacement. Was back to work way sooner than I thought possible. Trumbull Memorial nurses were great too. I will have him do my other hip for sure.
