The last root canal has been a real problem. Dr. Rauth, by his own admission, found only 2 of 3 or 4 roots on this upper molar. Rather than tell me afterwards that the tooth should not be capped, he sent me back to my dentist for the crown. I have had constant unremitting pain in the tooth and gum ever since. His solution? Yet another procedure, an apicoectomy, that he doubts will solve the problem but I am expected to pay for. Dr. Rauth was very caring, gentle and a real mench. I highly recommend him to anyone needing Root Canals. He's a real pro.
I've had some bad dentists before seeing Dr . Rauth and he knew that I was very fearful. During the root canal procedure, he was calm, thorough and helped me keep my mind of what was doing. The facillities were immaculate and he explained every step.. The experience under his care was great and it restored my otherwise little faith in dentistry. I had my first two root canals in this office recommended by my general dentist. They were both painless. He is patient and careful and I went to work immediately after without any problems. I would only say that I wish he had been emphatic about the immediate necessity of getting one tooth crowned subsequently. He did mention in advance that it might crack and it did but it wasn't clear to me that it was imperative that I do this immediately. I would recommend him highly.
I saw Dr. Rauth back in 1995. I have since moved from the area. I wish I could find someone here that I felt would do as good of a job on my teeth as Dr. Rauth did. He did oral surgery to repair another dentist's poor root canal job. I have not had any trouble with that tooth since! (that's ten years!!) It was a major procedure and was much less unpleasant than some teeth cleanings I have had elsewhere.
