Dr. Hauch is the most kind, knowledgeable, miracle worker that I have ever known. He treated me surgically at a time when I was scared and hopeless. I am a Type 1 diabetic x 65 years and without Dr. Hauch and his nurse; I would have lost my sight. I am now 70 and still can see well. Thank you, God, and Dr. Hauch!
I had an emergency eye situation and Dr Hauch fit me in that day. He spent so much time with me and was able to treat my severe condition with no vision loss. He is bright and kind; Rare in a Specialty doc.
Don't be ten minutes late for a Dr. Hauch appointment -- even if you have had to wait twice as long for him in the past. We left Bargersville, twenty minutes south of Indiananapolis, allowing plenty of time to make a 1:00 appointment. The best kind of doctor. Smart (beyond smart actually), friendly and allows the patient to have a lot of input in their medical care. LIstens very well. Just all around great doctor.
Dr. Hauch has been taking care of my 90 year old mother for several years. He is very kind, caring, and an excellent doctor. He has given her shots in her eyes for macular degeneration. We trust him completely and feel very lucky to have such a wonderful doctor. He listens patiently and explains her treatment plan in easily understood language. His staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. My mom loves going to Dr. Hauch!
I recommend against using this surgeon. The surgical service from Dr. Hauch was fine, however my experience re: very serious post-surgery concerns was extremely poor. The office staff was rude, refusing to even talk to me & advising they only talk to the referral doctor. The staff likewise refused to give me an appointment for having my concerns assessed by they doctor, and they declined to pass a question to the doctor. Instead they ended the call by simply hanging up on me!
