Former Kidney donor here. Went in to be tested for liver donation. Passed everything medical wise and even have the blood type they desire the most…but they deemed me “unfit” because of my tattoos, sexuality and the fact that I had trauma 20 YEARS AGO that I have recovered from. They even falsified information on the notes in my chart. So much for trying to help anyone out.
These guys are the best. They do more living donor liver transplants that anyone in the USA. The entire team is top notch. Dr. Humar is world class and remarkably low-key and humble. So grateful we were able to be a part of a LDLT here.
Literally useless!! I have been calling them for DAYS to try to get my post transplant care transferred there. They refuse to answer their phones, never return messages, and on the off chance you DO get through, they place you on hold for 20min and then hang up on you. I'm reporting this agency to the attorney general
