Unfortunately, after waiting for nearly three months to get an initial new patient appointment, I showed up early for my 1:40 pm appointment today and was very rudely treated by the receptionist! This was a huge disappointment, as I’d been referred by two existing patients who are friends- I was told that my insurance would not be accepted, after seeing on this practitioners site that it would be. Excellent doctor, caring and knowledgeable.
Update: team has improved on follow up. I'm a big fan. Update: Tom, himself, is great. Very available and attentive. The front office still has room for improvement, however. Front office changed my initial physical exam with this doctor from 3pm to 10:40am on 48 hours notice. It had taken a month to get the appointment in the first place. This was not professionally handled -- at all.
Dr Rockland is my primary physician. He is an excellent doctor. Knowledgeable and caring. I recommend him highly.
Serious, no-nonsense practitioner. Very good doc. Listens carefully. Speaks his mind. Forthright and candid. Highly recommend.
