Was sent to this guy 20 years ago , pain in my left leg. What I remember , nicely dressed , good bed side manner, I had a nerve study and then sent me for a MRI which was mis read. Ok his prognosis I was to fat . After a couple more months of agonizing pain in my lower leg . Said lets try steroids' injections, OK . had to wait another 3 or 4 weeks in agonizing pain . Dr. Skeels was very professional and informative. Since I could not have an EMG done. He explained in detail what options he would suggest to my physician. Dr. Skeels listened to the reason for the EMG due to a MVA. I hope I am rescheduled with him in the near future. Thank you Dr. Skeels.
Dr Skeels performed nerve tests on my legs and lower back. I think he did a very good job. I have had the tests before, but not as easy as he did. He told me when he was going to insert a needle that was going to hurt. He is very thoughtful on how the patient is feeling.
Dr Skeels was thorough and explained what he was doing and the results of the test.
What an amazing gourp of professionals. Dr. Steels was friendly and gentle. I was in pain and he took his time making as comfortable as possible. Thank you.

Left ankle and foot numb as a result of a hematoma which developed after heart surgery.
Dr Skeels performed an EMG nerve test on my lower leg, not a pleasant test. But he explained the procedure well and completed it quickly. Dr Skeels had a reassuring, calm manner, and it was especially helpful during the uncomfortable test. Afterwards, he explained his findings, and I learned more about my condition that my orthopedic specialist at OrthoNeuro ever bothered to tell me. It was nice to be treated as a human being and not a body part. I would definitely recommend him.
Dr.Keels was very kind, thorough and knowledgeable. Would totally recommend him.
