For both instances where I was in shoulder pain, Dr. Baumgarten LISTENED. I described my functionality limitations, and he recommended an MRI, and in both instances, I had a torn rotator cuff. Surgery for both (2.5 years apart) were smooth and efficient - his care team stellar. Can't recommend enough!
Dr Baumgarten is super professional and friendly. He listens to you. Dr Baumgarten has preformed surgery on me 3 times. Both shoulders for rotator cuff repairs and a broken shoulder. He did my broken shoulder in 1996 and I returned to him for both rotator cuff repair. He is my Dr for shoulder work.
I was reluctant to have surgery on my left knee after the surgery on my right knee was done so poorly by another doctor. However, I can report my left knee repair was done so well by Dr. Baumgarten I have had no troubles out of my left knee going on 10 years now. He even discovered a cyst on my sciatic nerve and removed it without complication.
Dr. Baumgarten is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He has a great ability to make a patient feel hopeful.
In 1997, Dr Baumgarten performed surgery on my left shoulder. He bothced it. 20 years later in TN it's finally repaired with a lower trapexius transfer and a tenotimy. Hopefully his craft has improved.
Dr. Baumgarten repaired a torn meniscus. Also had quite a few injections to lubricate my knee. Many people complain of great discomfort when this is done, but I never had this problem. Dr. Baumgarten's precision injecting was always perfecto! Wonderful doctor!
This gentleman is top shelf in my book he even tried to help me out while on vacation. He is very sincere and a caring doctor. He was beyond helpful to me in my time of need!
Dr. Baumgarten is extremely talented, a great listener, a great surgeon. He will prescribe just the plan necessary for a patient's needs.
Very relaxed approach and makes a true connection with his patients. Haven't met a patient of his yet to say anything bad. His job repairing my torn right labrum was excellent. My recovery could not be going better. Exceptional work!
