This place was perfect! My husband and I spent a week in Oregon for our anniversary. We are from Florida. After the long plane ride I was so excited to walk into the beautiful griffin’s loft. The location was also perfect. Plenty of shops and hiking trails near by. Book it now! You will not regret it!
We Loved This Spot! My Husband who rarely says anything about any where we stayed during we 3 week road trip could not stop talking about how marvelous the rooms were to the point we had to find out the person who did the design! Brad amazing job with the rooms! Everything was spot on including location n we had all the snacks we wanted. We had the pleasure of meeting Kimie who manages the hotel and she was Superb! This place is immaculate. Truly regal palace vibes. Even though there is no front desk or staff around (that I saw) I was still able to get a timely response for any questions I had. Even with all the decor, everything was CLEAN. There was no dust to be found, which feels like a hard task to achieve with the sheer number of items in each room and corner. I honestly did not want to review this place because I want it to stay available for me to come back to! 10000/10
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Thistledown! We stayed in the Griffin Loft. Everything about this place was well-thought out and executed - from the decor to the appliances. For starters our room was ready early which is always a plus. Upon arrival we had snacks and a fridge full of refreshments and the room was clean. From start to finish, our stay at Thistle Down on Oak in Hood River was pure perfection. It began with the amazing woman who called me back after my original reservation, she was warm, thorough, and made sure every detail was explained, from how to get into the building to what to expect upon arrival. The building itself is a beautifully restored 1910-era bank, now transformed into offices and this stunning boutique hotel.
