Fantastic place to stay, great room & location
Delightful concept! Take an historic building, renovate it modern with shiny new appliances and fixtures, a comfortable bed from this century, and stuff it with antiquities! The access to downtown is superior, the complimentary amenities (snacks) are high quality and plentiful, and the check in process is like a short term rental with door codes and self check in. What an absolutely amazing experience. Located in the heart of town, walking distance to plenty of bars, pubs, and breweries this hotel is unlike any other. The rooms have real antique decorations, original paintings, and a magical feeling to the space. The beds are extremely soft and all amenities have been thought of - with a fully included minibar This is my second stay and we can’t wait to come back!
This place is phenomenal!! The checkin process is seamless and the hosts are very communicative. The location is perfectly walkable and it comes with a parking pass. The rooms are absolutely stunning and one of a kind down to every last detail! We really appreciated the extra touch they added by going above and beyond with amenities like snacks, beverages, and toiletries. I can’t wait to come back!!
My husband and I stayed in the Emerald Juliet room for three nights, and we highly recommend this lovely, 19th-century-themed boutique hotel filled with charming treasures. The hotel is located in downtown Hood River, within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. We especially enjoyed dinner at the fine dining Votum Restaurant, just a few blocks away. If you are visiting Hood River, we recommend both Thistledown on Oak and Votum Restaurant for a truly memorable stay and dining experience.
