Made a weekend trip to Austin and stopped by Thirsty Turtle on Saturday night with a friend at her recommendation. Great neighborhood bar. Atmosphere was nice, the staff was friendly, and the drinks didn't break the bank. Will be going back on the next trip down there.

The bartenders over charge you thinking you can't add, and have a major attitude problem telling customers what to do. Got me fucked up. Just saying.
Definitely not the same as it used to be. Still an ok place to have a few drinks. I miss the old staff. The new one is constantly changing. JonO, Torie, Mitch, Lisa & Ashley are missed.
We love this place! The bartenders are awesome!

The Turtle is a good neighborhood bar! Carlos the manager definitely makes it a very welcoming place. Unfortunately the best bartender they had Liz no longer works there :(
