We visited Ruth’s Chris Wed night... Our dinner was great by the time I was in my drive way I was violently ill... minutes later so was my boyfriend. I called and was basically told it couldn’t be food poisoning because it happened to quickly which is false and that was it. No apology no nothing.... I spent my evening in the ER. Things go wrong and that’s life, however I expected a lot more from Ruth’s

I have an interesting story to tell about Ruth Fertel. It was April 15th 2002. My son Reagan had been born at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Mpls, Mn in December with multiple birth complications. I had been residing at the hospital for 4 months. My husband picked me up and took me to Ruth's Chris Steak House for our anniversary dinner. All of the staff is superb, they go above and beyond to make sure your experience is enjoyable. The food and drinks are awesome. This is our go to place for celebrations, and out of town guests. 5 stars!!!
It might seem funny to have fine dining and casual in the same review but this place is an amazing combination of fine dining meets cozy. Our server was super warm and personable. Made you feel at home, ask for Jesse, he’s great! We will definitely be returning. Food was ahhhmazing, definitely top 5 meals for me, Au gratin potatoes. Yumm!!
