April has been helpful since my first day of therapy. She's kind and reassuring and is really easy to talk to. She gives real advice while never making me feel judged or embarrassed. Our sessions never feel scripted or performative. It's a much more natural conversation type setting, which I appreciate. She's very easy to contact and schedule with, and her office is comfortable, putting me at ease even more.

If you're considering Therapy Today, I strongly recommend avoiding Joi Thompson. Unfortunately, my experience with her was extremely disappointing. She came across as condescending and dismissive—by far the most unprofessional therapist I've encountered. If she had been my first therapist, I honestly don't think I would have returned to therapy at all. I had several issues with her approach. Ive been a patient since 2022 and the therapist here are phenomenal. I highly recommend seeking help here from the therapist.. however the office need to work better on communication. They only call and leave voicemails but to some email is better and I like to have a paper trail. I had a small balance that was in my account for less than 6 months, Im an active patient and all my other appointments are covered by my insurance.
