I have reached out to several therapists on this site and have yet to get a response. I try at least every couple months and nothing. It’s for my 15 year old daughter and I always come here to see if maybe someone will respond but nothing. Update: still waiting for a therapist to respond. This is so disheartening!

So thankful I found both my NY therapist of 3 years on the directory and when I moved to GA, I found a new therapist through the directory. Love their blog, podcast and Sister Circle as well!
This a phenomenal platform to find black therapists that are very much needed in our community. I’m grateful that someone did not beg for a seat at the table but created a table for us by us metaphorically speaking. The majority of these negative reviews are misplaced and belong to business owners with poor customer service. This is a directory - you can’t be upset with the Yellow Pages (the phone book) just because the businesses you’ve contacted have poor customer service. The customer service is severely lacking. No return calls, emails or VMs after several attempts. What's the point of this site for us if there is no follow-through or guarantee to even get anyone on the phone?!
