Good surgeon but to me lacks compassion for patient. Once surgery is done, it seems you're forgotten about & your issues/concerns are ignored. It is as if he doesn't actively listen to his patient. Depends a lot on his PA.
Dr explain everything to me. I understood the complications. We did the fusion it went well. I still have some cervical pain but Dr is great. Nothing is ever a 100%. But love this Dr he's great. I would trust him again.
Dr. Fisher is an excellent doctor. His bedside manner really put me at ease. He spent the time to answer all of my questions. The surgery couldn't have gone any better. I would highly recommend Dr. Fischer to any with a back problem.
Dr. Fisher seemed very nice at first. Moving his other patients to schedule my surgery as it was urgent. After surgery I was heavily medicated and recorded our conversations in the hospital in case I forgot anything. At my 10 day follow up in his office he tried to lie to me about what was said in the hospital, I brought up the recording and he screamed me out of his office. He treated me as a drug addict and recommended hot showers for pain. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN. Never been treated worse.
I would never go to Dr. Fisher ever again. Spinal fusion L4-L5-S1, 7" incision; dr. can't wait so he flips the bedding underneath you because you're too slow. Day after surgery the pain level great, nurses find Fisher prescribed less pain med after surgery than before surgery. A staff dr brought in to medicate properly. At follow-up appt., Fisher made snide remark that I wasn't home when office called me; turned out Fisher didn't even KNOW I was still in hospital!!
Amazing! He is the first orthopedic Dr that understood my back problem and fixed it. Listens snd really cares.
