Warning - Slooooowww service, mediocre food, definitely do not recommend – We tried this BBQ restaurant because they were featured on the AZ morning news and The Food Channel's "Diner's, Drive-Ins, and Dives". thee best bbq on the planet!!!!!!!!! – looks like a 5 and diner from the outside , smells like an authentic bbq restaurant. Smoked, really? – The meats have almost no flavor, except for being disguised by sickningly sweet barbecue sauce. Denny's has better barbeque.
Thee Pits Again – Out of all the "so-called" Bar-B-Q restaurants around the valley, less than a handful feature authentic slow-smoked true Bar-B-Q meats. Thee Pits is one of them, and probably the best in my opinion. It's clean, bright and comfy, and the sides are equal to the best of meats anywhere.
